Lizard and Pyramidal Orchids, near Poses and Val de Reuil, 16 May 2006

I looked for the orchids which I had photographed last year [click to see] - and found them under the bushes and along the roadside (which seemed to have been mown recently).

They were starting their growth. In another few weeks they will be flowering.

[in the end, unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to photograph flowering them in 2006]
