These photos were taken on an overcast day, in the early afternoon (after my regular weekly lunch-time English lesson with telecommunications-company personnel).

The wood is mainly Beech, with some Birch, Holly, Hazel. On the ground are grasses, rushes, and Wood Anemone. There is little noise, except for occasional Great Tit, Jay, or Woodpecker, and the disturbance of passing cars. |
